Earlier this month, CES event took place in LA and there we saw many gadgets unveiled. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 was also unveiled and now the tablet is ready to be shipped.
Talking about the specifications, Lenovo ThinkPad 8 tablet runs on Windows 8.1 operating system and is powered by Intel Atom Z3770 Bay Trail processor chipset clocked at 2.39GHz. The Windows 8 tablet features 8.3-inch display having a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. In Memory terms, the tablet houses 2GB DDR3 RAM and 64GB / 128GB HDD that can be expanded for additional storage via microSD card support. The tab measures 5.19 x 8.83 x 0.35-inches and weighs about 291grams.
Windows 8 operated ThinkPad 8 sports 8MP rear-facing camera for notable photography and video recording. The front panel equips 2MP front-facing camera for video chats and self portrait. For connectivity, the tab ships with Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro HDMI and 3G/4G connectivity. To back up the device, it packs 2-cell Li-Polymer 20.5 Whr battery that offers up to 7.2 hours runtime.
