Months old Huawei MediaPad M1 has its sibling already announced. We are talking about the latest addition in the MediaPad series. Though the gadget did not receive a glamorous debut but still received lot of attention. The new tablet is dubbed as Huawei MediaPad M2. France is the first country to get s close look on the gadget. MediaPad M2 was announced secretly with flashing metal body and decent features. The tablet features 8-inch 2K Display, 64-bit Kirin 930 chipset, 2GB RAM, Android Lollipop OS and Cat. 4 LTE support.
Chinese manufacturer has pulled the wraps off the latest arrival that goes by the name Huawei MediaPad M2. It adds to the mid-end tablet series. It is the successor for the February announced MediaPad M1. France Huawei arm has listed the tablet with its price tag. There is a Wi-Fi and WiFi+4G variant for the tablet.
Specs-wise, Huawei MediaPad M2 runs on Android v5.0 Lollipop OS with EMUI 3.0 on top. It sports 8-inch Display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It measures 7.8mm thin and weighs about 310 grams.
MediaPad M2 is powered by 64-bit 2GHz octa-core Kirin 930 SoC. Memory-wise, the tablet is offered with 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage that supports expansion using microSD card up to 32GB for extra storage on the device.
On the imaging front, the Huawei MediaPad M2 tablet sports 8MP primary camera with LED flash for pictures and videos. It also comes with 2MP front snapper for video chats and selfies. In terms of connectivity, the tablet supports Cat. 4 LTE support (for Wi-Fi+4G variant), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, microUSB, etc. It is backed up by 4,800mAh battery.
Huawei MediaPad M2 will be arriving in three color variant i.e. Silver, Gray and Gold. For grabs the device will be available next Month. It is tagged priced at €349 (WiFi+4G) and€279 for Wi-Fi variant.
