Motorola Moto E 2015 gets Official with Lollipop, 4G LTE support and 64-bit CPU

The new Moto E 2015 sports 4.5-inch qHD Display, 64-bit quad core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and runs on latest Android v5.0 lollipop OS.

If you love the Moto E smartphone then here is yet another addition to the list. Motorola Moto E 2015 is the second generation Motorola smartphone. The Moto E 2015 comes in two variants i.e. 3G and 4G LTE.

As per the specs-sheet, the new Motorola Moto E 2015 sports 4.5-inch qHD display having a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels protected by Corning Gorilla glass 3. The smartphone measures 66.8 × 129.9×5.2 – 12.3 mm and weighs about 145 grams. On the software front, the device runs on Lollipop OS (Android v5.0).

Under the hood, the MOTO E 2nd generation is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset for the 4G variant coupled with 400 MHz Adreno 306 GPU. For the 3G variant, the smartphone packs 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 400 MHz Adreno 302 GPU. In terms of memory, the smartphone is offered with 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage that can be extended using memory card.

On the imaging front, the Motorola Moto E sports 5MP rear facing camera for photos and videos. The handset features VGA front snapper for selfies. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone supports 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microUSB, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is backed up by 2390mAh battery.

On the color variant, the Moto E 2015 comes in black and white options. As per the pricing, the handset range varies with the type i.e. the 3G variant is tagged at $119.99 USD while the 4G LTE comes with $149.99. The device is expected to launch potential markets around the globe.
