The Indian vendor has listed the next Bolt smartphone in its official website. The new arrival we are discussing here is dubbed as Micromax Bolt A066. It adds to the Bolt range of smartphones. It is an entry level handset with modest features like 3.5-inch Display, Dual core processor chip coupled with 512MB RAM and running on KitKat OS. Though the price and availability is still a mystery but it is speculated that Bolt A066 will be priced below 5K.
Micromax adds yet another entry level smartphone by the name Bolt A066. The specs-sheet is no new or surprising. It comes with basic features and lacks 3G support. If you are looking for a 3G handset then you can consider other entry level handsets but not Bolt A066.
Coming to the specifications, Micromax Bolt A066 features 3.5-inch HVGA IPS display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It runs on Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS.
On the hardware terms, the new Bolt A066 is powered with dual-core MediaTek MT6571 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. Memory-wise, the smartphone is offered with 512MB of RAM, 4GB onboard storage that can be extended using microSD card for additional support.
For photography, the Micromax handset sports 2MP fixed focus rear facing camera with an LED flash. It comes with VGA (0.3MP) front snapper for selfies. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports usual options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, Micro-USB and 3.5mm headphone jack. It is backed up by 1300mAh battery that offers 6 hours of talktime and 160 hours of standby. The handset embeds light sensor, gravity sensor and proximity sensor.
The smartphone here features all regular specs. The price at least has to be budget friendly or exciting enough to grab attention.
