NVIDIA Shield Gaming Tablet upgraded to Android L
The popular processor maker NVIDIA powered tablets are quite popular around the globe. NVIDIA Shield Tablet LTE variant gets the taste of new Android 5.0. The Wi-Fi variant is already upgraded. The gaming tablet is now upgraded to Android L.
To remind you, the NVIDIA Shield Tablet LTE model sports 8-inch Display boasting a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. It measures 221.00 x 126.00 x 9.20 and weighs about 390 grams.
Under the hood, the LTE tablet is powered by 2.2GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset. Memory-wise, the tablet boards 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage that can be extended using microSD card up to 128 GB. The Graphics is controlled by 192 core Kepler GPU.
The gaming tablet sports Dual 5MP camera i.e. one at the front and other at the rear panel. The Gaming tablet on the connectivity terms supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microUSB, etc.
The makers have earlier stated that the gaming tablet offers experience like on a console. The Android L upgrade adds new features on the gadget like Dabbler 2.0 art studio with full support for layers, SHIELD Hub, and NVIDIA GRID gaming services. Besides the features it also offers new games like Half-Life 2: Episode one.
To update and avail all the goodies simply go to the Settings menu and hit the update button. This will upgrade the tablet to the new OS.
