After the big phone being launched in India its now turn for another international smartphone maker. We are talking about the Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC. The makers have come with HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 820q. Both the smartphones are offered with similar specs-sheet but are different in terms of processor chip and memory. The smartphones runs on Android v4.4 KitKat OS, 13MP rear facing camera and pretty modest specs.
HTC has released its 2 new smartphone in India. Both the devices come with pretty specifications that will draw a lot of eyes. The smartphone measures 7.74mm on its thicker sides and weighs 155 grams.
Talking about the specs-sheet, HTC Desire 820 features 5.5-inch display boasting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the software front, Android 4.4 with HTC Sense 6 UI that can be further upgraded to Android L.
Under the hood, Desire 820 is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. The graphics on the device is offered by Adreno 405 GPU. Memory-wise, the smartphone supports 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage that can be further extended using microSD card up to 128GB.
In terms of imaging, the smartphone features 13MP rear facing camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, BSI sensor for quality photography and video recording at 1080p. The smartphone also sports 8MP front snapper for video calls and selfies. Connectivity-wise, the handset supports usual options like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, GPS, microUSB, etc. The battery powering up the gadget is of 2600 mAh capacity.
Coming to HTC Desire 820q which is the quad core variant possess similar specifications but differ in the processor. The smartphone is powered by 1.2GHz clocked quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU. Memory-wise, the handset comes with 1GB of RAM. Both the devices are Dual SIM slotted.
As per the availability and pricing, HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 820q will go on floors by November and the price tag is yet a mystery. We will update the space upon further updates so stay tuned.
