The South Korean Giant is prepping for its successor version. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 was leaked by the GFX Benchmark and the some specs boarded are spilled over. The new Galaxy Mega 2 features 5.9-inch display and packs 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM.

As per the specifications that has surfaced shows the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 running on Android KitKat OS. The successor features a 5.9-inch touchscreen display boasting a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels.
Under the hood, the device is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Memory-wise, the Galaxy Mega 2 boards 2GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage but the additional storage via microSD card is in question.
On the camera section, Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 sports 12MP rear-facing camera for photography and video recording. There is a 4.7MP front-facing snapper for video chatting and self portrait. In terms of connectivity, the device is offered with obvious options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, microUSB, etc. It includes sensors like gyroscope, proximity, light sensor and accelerometer.
No word on prices and availability for Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has surfaced yet but speculated to hit potential market soon. The specs released so far shows a modes handset.
