Oppo N1 Mini and R3 Goes Official in China

oppoAfter teasing the smartphone for a while the Chinese Company has finally pulled the wraps off the new Smartphone. We are talking about the awaited smartphone Oppo N1 Mini. Besides the handset, the makers also unveiled Oppo R3. Both the Oppo handsets are Android Phone and features 5-inch display and more or less similar specs-sheet.

Previously we have learned that Oppo plans to make its N1 Mini official by the end of May but it seems like Oppo wants to grab a lot of attention by launching two smartphones in China. The smartphone will soon be on floors in the Country.

As per the specs, Oppo N1 Mini comes in a 5-inch HD frame having a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It runs on Oppo built Color OS 1.4 (customized Google Android OS).


Under the hood, it packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.6GHz. Memory-wise, the device boards 2GB RAM, 16GB built in storage that supports expansion via microSD card slot. Graphics unit consists of Adreno 305 chip.

Like the full sized Oppo N1, the Mini version also sports a Swiveling camera of 13MP which serves the purpose of rear and front camera. On the connectivity side, the device comes with 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, microUSB, etc. The device is backed up by 2140 mAh battery.

As of now, the smartphone will be flooring in China in coming weeks with three color options i.e. White, Blue and Yellow. The price tag on the N1 Mini is 2699 yuan or $433.

Besides the N1 Mini, Oppo R3 the successor for the R1 smartphone was also made official. There is a 5-inch HD display and somehow is similar to the N1 Mini. The processor packed inside is 1.6GHz operated quad-core Snapdragons 400 processor. It is coupled with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of onboard storage, for additional storage supports MicroSD card.

On the imaging terms, R3 is different from Oppo N1. It sports 8MP rear shooter for photography and video recording. The device is offered with 5MP front snapper. To power up the smartphone, there is a 2420 mAh battery. The connectivity options include 4G LTE and other obvious options.

As per its pricing, it will be flooring in the Chinese market later in June for 2299 yuan or $369. The color variants available are only Black and White.
