ZTE is a popular Chinese smartphone maker. Buzz is ZTE has launched its first Windows 8 Phone. The name of the new Windows Phone is ZTE Nubia W5. ZTE is popularly known for Android devices but it seems the makers have planned to invest on Windows Phone too. The first smartphone is Windows is not officially announced but the purported specs have surfaced online. It is running on Windows Phone 8.1 OS and boasts pretty specs.
ZTE Nubia W5 surfaced, Specs unsure
Nubia series is not new. We have seen Nubia handset previously but this time it is running Windows OS. The alleged ZTE Nubia W5 adds yet another smartphone to the Nubia series but this time it comes with Windows 8.1 OS. Although the device is still a mystery, some of alleged specifications for the upcoming gadget have surfaced online. The Guys here are the one to spot the new Nubia W5 image and specs.

Specification-wise, Nubia W5 is running on Windows Phone 8.1 OS. The processor in charge is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset. The display or the screen resolution is unwrapped. On the memory board, the smartphone packs a 3 GB of RAM, and 64GB inbuilt storage. We are not sure about the microSD card slot but seem to have one.
Other specifications, like on the connectivity side, the ZTE Nubia W5 comes with 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, A-GPS/GLONASS, etc. On the back side the smartphone comes with 13 MP rear snapper for amazing photography and shooting videos. There is no word on the front camera.
The new Windows smartphone from ZTE is backed up with massive 4,500mAh battery. This hints that the new Nubia will be packing more than 5-inch frame.
Talking about the Windows Phone 8.1 OS doesn’t it remind you of the Nokia Lumia 630. It is the latest budget Windows smartphone from Nokia and has grabbed a lot of attention since announced.
To remind you, the Nokia Phone is running on Windows Phone 8.1 operating system at a budget price. The device features a 4.5-inch IPS Capacitive display having a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The processor packed. It is powered by 1.2GHz running quad-core CPU in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. In terms of storage, Lumia 630 houses 512MB RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage. It is also accorded with microSD card slot expansion that can be expanded up to 128GB.
The Nokia Lumia 630 is available in four color variants i.e. Black, White, Bright Green, and Bright Yellow. In connectivity terms, the device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, and GPS. It lacks a front camera but equips a 5MP rear snapper.
The phone is backed up by 1830mAh battery that offers talk time up to 16.4 hours on 2G and 13.1 hours on 3G. It is priced at 999 Yuan (or $160.25) in China.
